Ezra was 9 years old and in very good health when he got sick in February 2007. He was taken to his primary doctor and specialists for 4 weeks but keep on suffering with severe stomach pain. At the end of the fifth week we demanded immediate hospital stay and a CT scan. Immediately after the Scan he was taken in the operating room for a 12 hour surgery. Within three months he had three major surgeries. The hospital then transferred him to another hospital in a different state.
He was there for another three months, had one major surgery and got worse. Doctors told us that there was no hope of him eating for the rest of his life or even surviving. He had a fever for weeks now and tubes all over. God the Father gave us the insight to get a Doctor and a hospital in Michigan. He couldn't have gone by ambulance or commercial plane. We had to get a private medical Jet.
He was transferred to Michigan and the main problem that he had initially was fixed with the first major surgery. Since some parts of his body was so badly damaged because of the long hospital stay without fixing the problem he had to go for another major surgery again. After three months over in Michigan we were told that it will take a long time for him to eat since he hadn't eaten for 9 months. We decided to do this process in a hospital in NJ closer to home.
We were then transferred to a hospital in NJ. We got in NJ and after a couple weeks he got very sick. They wanted to have surgery but we refused to do it over there. We told them that we needed him to be transferred to Pittsburg. You see he had 6 major surgeries and could only had one more. The place we were directed by God to go for this last surgery was there.
He was transferred to Pittsburg, had one last major surgery and was discharged January 20th, 2008 after a whole year in four different hospitals in four cities and three States.
